There is 84 Mental Healthcare Providers per every 100,000 people in El Paso County.[1] The National Average is just above 274 Mental Healthcare providers [3].

Since 8/3, there has been an uptick in the number of people seeking Mental Healthcare in El paso [4].

To combat this, we are helping El Pasoans prepare for the mental healthcare they deserve through an app that will focus on autonomy and support while they wait for their opportunity to work one-on-one with their desired mental health practitioner. The app will support an initial inventory, mood tracking software, an interactive list of mental health resources (such as emergency hotlines, clinician contact information, and other community based mental health support systems), and an internal filing service to help prepare individuals to work with their mental health care provider. The app will act as an all-in-one self-service resource for those in the El Paso area that want to work alongside a professional to improve their mental health.
